I have always had a strong relationship with my Grandmother, from as young as I can remember. I watched her as she aged over the years, and became unable to do certain things for herself. It was instinctual for me to just do them for her. It made her feel better knowing she had me there for her and it made me feel good knowing I could help her and make her life easier. I started being a caregiver when I was 25 years old, I always had a heart for people and helping others. I knew that was the type of work I wanted to do was give back my time and love to ones that need special care. I worked with clients from ages 17-78 some with mental and intellectual disabilities, to working with patients in a mental hospital suffering from depression, drug abuse, rape, self harm, suicidal thoughts and attempts.
