Hello my name is Samuel Estavien and i've been a Cna Since 2013. I first became a Cna through recommendation. I would often be at home caring for my Grand father and my mom after observing me (who is also a Cna) recommended me to go into this work. One of my best qualities would be empathy which is why enjoy home care. I like to feel what the patient feels beyond words and discern the little things about them. This creates a better atmosphere of care for me and the patient. I also like to provide a environment of peace, harmony, and reliability. I became a caregiver because I enjoy making others feel better when they are not well or unable to care for themselves. I became a Caregiver because I enjoy helping others. What I like about being a Caregiver is being able to put a smile on someone face, knowing that i was able to help them in any way. A personal achievement I am proud of is being to work so that way I can pay for some college classes. Im an out going person, I work well with others. I'm Bilingual Speaking both English and Creole. When I'm not busy at work or with homework, I enjoy spending time with my family.

I became a care giver when I saw how little care my grandfather was giver when He was sick, I wanted to make a difference to families like me. It is my joy to see the smile and relief on this face of the person and family while I take care of the sick.
