Hello I started out watching my mother with a patient she worked with. I remember the smile he would have when she was to come around and how he felt safe with her and comfortable and watched my mom help him and was always making sure he was in good hands and happy.I was 16 at the time. So when i finished high school I wanted to do what she did. I started my First Job at Brookdale in a memory care unit as a resident care tech for 3 years and I loved it,but I couldn't get a job easy because I didn't have my CNA licences so I challenged the CNA test and passed it .After That I started working at Beach House in assisted living and in memory care as a CNA . I just love helping others. Also making them feel loved and just having someone to talk to making them happy and safe. Currently Im doing private CNA work at the patient Home.

My name is SaKaiya, I've lived in Florida all my life. Since I've graduated high school I've been always wanted to get into the field for caring for others. I've done childcare which was amazing now I'm doing adult/senior care. I do have minimum to little experience. But I will make sure the patient will get all the care that they need!

Being a caregiver ( HHA)for 6 years has helped me in so many ways, I have worked mostly Private Duty I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with. Taking care of sick people that needs my help gives me joy in my heart and it let me know they need people to work with them that care. I have taken care of all the elderly in my family and some of their friends, I moved from TX to FL and looking to do the same I have been doing for the past 15 years as a paid caregiver. I am very patient with old ladies and know how to take care of their needs. The caregiver job is to make them feel comfortable and sometimes keep them company and depending upon the person have a little fun and have a nice time. I took care of a lady who was in a coma for a year and always talked to her and keep her looking her best. She woke up and told me she knew that somebody was talking to her and telling her stories. Never allowed her to get bed sores or neglected her. I am a professional sanitarian with a M.S and know how important to keep their area clean is. I have travel extensively, I am bilingual English and Spanish and like to read and write also I have a passion for old cultures, history, movies and Precolumbian art.

I am a very outgoing and compassionate person. I was attracted to being a caregiver because I love to help people and try to bring joy to people that are in need. I would enjoy that fact that I could be making a difference in someones life. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of was when in one semester I had four class, four labs, research lab, and three different jobs and I still managed to receive a 4.0 GPA.
