I see myself as being patient, kind, energetic, willing to learn, always asking questions, planning ahead, quick learner, compassionate caregiver. I remain calm during critical decisions, ability to help maintain comfort in my clients during accidents or incidents. I'm 59 yrs old,5'7,divorced,own my own property my 80 yr dad lives with me,he is now better,that I changed his doctor,She had him on medicines that were making his heart slow down,and swelling of his legs,and weeping,due to on warfin too long.Now that he is off,he is much better. I am looking for light housekeeping and companion work only no heavy lifting at all looking to stay in the Hudson Route 52 New Port Richey area I won't go to Holiday and I'm going to go to Spring Hill just the local areas and if it's local it's like $10 an hour instead of 15 I have my own vehicle background check went through okay I don't drink smoke or do drugs and I drive I also do pet sitting for seniors

I have been a caregiver for over 30 years, this all started when I was 14 caring for my grandmother who was in hospice care. Caring for people in need has been and will always be my passion. I enjoy caregiving because it's what I do best it's a natural gift I've been given. A personal achievement I am proud of is having the ability to know and learn what my clients need being on top of their needs.

The reasons why I became an caregiver is because I love helping people it provide enjoyment in my life. My grandmother has been an caregiver for over 40 years that is reason why I became a caregiver in the first place. she was present the day I was born the nurse that took care of me and my mother over 32 years old. she recently retired over a month ago after 40 years of service providing clients with care I'm very proud of her. I want to personally be proud of myself I want her to be proud of me the same way. I'm 32 years old and proud mother of 3 kids I been married for 6 years, I have been assistant manager at McDonald for 10 years. I have been an nursing assistant for 13 years I take care of my mother who is ill been ill for the last past year. my passion is helping people that is my passion in life also my purpose.

I have a very easy going personality and that has helped me feel comfortable when I am with families and clients who come from all walks of life. I first became a caregiver while working at Shands hospital in Gainesville Florida, I saw a huge need with my patients who wanted to be at home but was unable to be alone and was also not ready for a nursing home. I would help them get set with equipment needed in their homes and help take care of them until they no longer needed assistance or the majority of the time until they passed away. This lead me to meeting nurses and doctors who would recommend me to other clients and that is how my business started. I have traveled with clients when they are unable to travel without assistance. I would travel with them to visit family or maybe a second home they own and other times just because they wanted a vacation. I have experience with making reservations when traveling, setting up clinic visits if the client has medical needs that would need to be addressed while on vacation. I feel like this is my calling in life and feel so blessed I am able to help others stay in their homes or facilities and be happy and healthy for as long as possible.

I have worked in a nursing home setting for the past four years. I have enjoyed helping my patients and providing for them. I have done a varity with them, whether its physical fitness/therapy, feeding, bathing, dressing, doing activities, and so much more. We give the encouragement to help motivate the patients to do better and get back to health. I would like to keep helping patients, but on a more one on one basis.

I am a mother of 2 and a loving wife. I work hard and love what I do. I look at life as a gift. I believe every day life is a gift and everyone should be treated and loved like it's your last.
