I became a caregiver because i wanted to help others to help themselves and because I enjoy knowing that I can make a difference in someones life. I like knowing that I can make someones life that much easier just by being patient, understanding, kind, loving, and willing to listen as well as paying attention to things to help them in their everyday life. I also like to see the change for the better in people when most would give up I like to find another way to help even when they don't realize it. I am very proud of myself for being successfully in raising my children to be the great children that they are and of myself for being able to do this as a single parent. I have 3 beautiful children ages 23, 17, and 14 2 boys and a girl she is the youngest I love working with others and don't mind working hard I would not change what i do for anything I love the challenge of being able to change things around for people when most people might think that it is a waste of time I believe that any and everything is possible if you work hard enough for it.

I started out at 15 years of age. Needed a good job. I soon knew that this was something special. Not just a job but that these were people who had families of their own. Who have worked so hard all their lives to take care of others and have been through so much more then my generation. If not for what they lived through, we would not have what we have or be where we are today. I'm very proud to say that when I lay down at night that I have given back and am helping people who really need it. I have learned that we are all the same and families need help with the ones they love and have taken take of them. I am 46 years of age and have 3 children, all grown. I have been married for 26 years to a wonderful man.

I enjoy being able to help others. I wanted to be a caregiver for others after caring for my grandmother and being able to see the difference it makes in their lives to have someone there when you need them. I would like to help others in the way that I was able to help my grandmother. I have experience with a variety of different duties pertaining to assisting elderly individuals. Helping others makes me happy and I enjoy doing the little things that will help make their lives better. I recently graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and work full-time, but am available for part-time assistance wherever is needed, evenings and weekends.
