I've been caring for elderly for about 15 years. Started with my grandma and having her tell me thank you so much and being appreciative of the small things I would do to make her smile did it for me. In elementary my school nurse became my mentor ,I use to spend every break in the nurses office watching and admiring her as she Passionately care for the children's. I have worked in Elderly Assisted Care Homes, and have worked in one- on- one home care . Provided care including bathing, meals, exercises, personal grooming and shopping. I also provided companionship to doctor appointments, personal errands, and provided care during hospital stays. I work with Alzheimer & Dementia patients with daily living activities, i. e. bathing, meals, laundry. I was responsible for daily reports of patient activities during shift. I find great pleasure in providing companionship, and making a difference in a persons life. I believe in treating my patients as though they are my own family. I came from the Philippines and I speak both English and Tagalog fluently.
