I became a caregiver because I can give people the care and support they need to be all they can be. I love helping people, making sure that the life and very existence of someone is better, because I am in there life is very important to me. I am most proud of my accomplishments as a life counselor for the youth. I'm a patient and flexible person and always ready to go that extra mile.

I have been in the medical field since 2007. I enjoy this profession due to the fact that I am able to help those who can't or need the help to do their daily activities and it makes me feel good knowing that I am able to give the person and their family that sense of relief knowing they have someone here who cares and genuinely wants to be there and do the best possible care they can to improve the quality of care and life. I've always gone above and beyond for anyone I've worked for and had a resident who was very hard to please go out of her way to write a note and post on the bulletin for all to see thanking me. For staying after my shift to put her to bed bc no one else would do it and I stayed an extra hr and half to do it and didn't complain in fact I kept asking if she was comfortable or needed. Anything else and she couldn't believe how sweet I was and even requested that if I was on shift I'd be her care giver.

Im new to Florida I moved here in the end of July 2014 I believe in taking care of those who cannot do so themselves. I have achieved alot in my years from hospice care to critical care .Im a 57 year old male who did hospices from 1985 thru 2020. I obtained my lna license in NH in 2007 and received my license here in Aug 2014 I love what I do and believe home is MUCH better then a rehab or nursing facility its one on one rather then sharing with 15 others. I have received several awards for doing my job as well as i have many references that are available upon request. My last clients were24/7 both husband and wife he passed Jan 2017 and she passed oct 2019 just shy of 90 years old.I did not work in 2020 but resumed with a client in 2021 with end stage Alzheimer's which he just passed feb 8,2022. I worked at DHS Health Care Service Agency, Ontario, in residential & hospice settings including dementia clients, and a Health Care Agency in North Carolina performing similar duties,(10 years combined) and 22 years as Therapeutic Foster Parent/Certified Teaching Parent with behavioural & mental health youths. I Prior to having my children worked as a Cna and phlebotomist in South Carolina for almost 6 years before moving here to Florida, I am a punctual worker, with a big heart. I became a Caregiver because I love caring for everyone, young and old. I have been doing that for 30 years plus. I have been some sort of a caregiver since I was a teenager. As a teenager I was the most sought after babysitter in my neighborhood. While I was a Sophomore in High school I took a health occupation class that was a 2 year long program taken at the local hospital. When I graduated I was a CNA and took a job at the Nursing home where I worked for a couple of years. I left due to starting my own family and becoming a stay at home mother. I am most proud of my 3 kids, 2 grandkids and my wonderful husband of 37 years.
