Patience, compassion, attentiveness, dependability, and trustworthiness What attracted me to being a caregiver is i have always had a soft heart i love to care for someone in need. Being needed and helping others makes e feel great, knowing i can be a blessing to someone else. I enjoy the time being spent with my patients, making them smile, being of assistance to them. One of my personal achievements is being the only caregiver wanted, i understood the patient, worked well with them and had emphathy and was patient with them.

I'm great at being a caregiver due to the fact I ALWAYS treat my patient as if they're my mom or dad!! I am a very caring and compassionate person. I am a mother of three adult children as well as a wife. I was a stay home mom for the first seven years of motherhood. I was born the oldest of seven to a single mom, I have been helping care for my siblings since I was six years old. I love to help those who can't help themselves or just need help, kindness and patience. I would have to say my proudest achievement is that I am a wife and mother for 27 years. I have been a Home Health Aide And Personal Care Aide for over 20 years in the state of NY. I have experience with older people as well as disabled individuals physically and mentally.

I was caregiver for my dad for ten years he needed me to care for his daily needs. After his second brain surgery that he lost his long term memory. I couldn't mind since my dad cared for me when I was a baby to teen-years. So I couldn't turn my back on him. Plus as a nurse assistance it is my job to care for the client in their time of need. That I gave my dad the best care as a parent would give to a child. I am the mother of two grown children a son and a daughter and my son-In-law and two grandchildren Autumn and Gabriel. I am graduate from Brown Mackie College from Atlanta for medical assistance for one year program. I am the type of person that I care about others well being to get better to their old self again.
