I became a Certified Nursing Assistant because my grandmother was having a hard time when she became up to age and she needed some type of assistance. Patience, compassion, attentiveness, dependability, and trustworthiness What attracted me to being a caregiver is i have always had a soft heart i love to care for someone in need. Being needed and helping others makes e feel great, knowing i can be a blessing to someone else. I enjoy the time being spent with my patients, making them smile, being of assistance to them. One of my personal achievements is being the only caregiver wanted, i understood the patient, worked well with them and had emphathy and was patient with them.

I'm great at being a caregiver due to the fact I ALWAYS treat my patient as if they're my mom or dad!! Have taken care of dementia, hospice, cancer, assisted w/ bathing, getting dressed, housekeeping, dr. appointments, & meal prepping. I can promise you, your family will be well taken care of!! Ive alway been a caregiver at heart but when my mom suffered with dementia she was very difficult and just thought everyone deserves the same heart filled care as i gave her I was als blessed to be with one couple 8 years he had mobilit issues and she had dementia I wa with them till the end he passed 3 years ago and she passed 3weeks ago I bathed them shoped for them made all appointment and took them to the dr. Wetraveled any where they went i went

I am very patient, compassionate and understanding, welling to help in anyway I can. I've always wanted to work with elders , I've worked with children and wanted to try something new. To give back to the community by helping. Helping in anyway possible. Giving a great presentation at work , being the best I can be.

I was caregiver for my dad for ten years he needed me to care for his daily needs. After his second brain surgery that he lost his long term memory. I couldn't mind since my dad cared for me when I was a baby to teen-years. So I couldn't turn my back on him. Plus as a nurse assistance it is my job to care for the client in their time of need. That I gave my dad the best care as a parent would give to a child. I am the mother of two grown children a son and a daughter and my son-In-law and two grandchildren Autumn and Gabriel. I am graduate from Brown Mackie College from Atlanta for medical assistance for one year program. I am have certificate nurse assistance for 20 years in nursing home, senior care home and ten years of caregiver experience. I am the type of person that I care about others well being to get better to their old self again. I believe that what I am doing will make them well again or feel better while I'm care for your love one. I am the kind of person that is down to earth, out going, caring, warm hearted, and silly person that wear my heart on my sleeves. I have been in the caregiver business for 24 years every since 1990 when I graduate from nurse assistance school.
