I have been a senior care provider for the past 18 years and I love it. I help people do daily activities such as showering, dressing, grooming, cooking, and cleaning so they can stay in their own homes. I am a compassionate person who really loves helping others. I have experience with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Hospice care . I am able to to partial transfers. I am able to do house upkeep and medication management. My goal as a caregiver is to keep clients as independent and mobile as possible.

I had my own daycare for 20 years. I been taking care of children since my first brother was born when I was 6. Other people's children at age 13, newborn and a 12-year-olds. I have babysat or I have been a surrogate mother to many children when they needed it. Was a Foster Mom for many years. Love people, but have a special aptitude for children, elderly and handicapped. I'm 35 years old and I have been A CNA since I left Highschool, I have been caring for others most of my life , My passions are Children and the Elderly. I love being that compassionate caregiver that the family can count on and feel safe when they aren't around. I love giving back as well as the knowledge that you can learn from the elderly. I never got to meet my grandma or grand daddy, so I get a piece of that when I'm rendering services for the Elderly.

I became a caregiver so that I could be able to take care of my mother, I like the one on one care that way I can take better care of the clients. My sisters and I took care of my mother for 14 years. I know she 's was getting the best care at home instead of being in a nursing home. I thank God she lived to be 92 years old. I have learn so much by taking care of her. I have been a Certified Nurse Assistant for 16 year. And I love taking care of peoples, that 's my calling.

I have always told others that I not medically inclined until almost three years ago my now 5 year old grand son almost drowned in our pool. Man had given upon him surviving. His parents were told that they would be provided with medically assisted suicide. To this day I have been thankful they did not go that route. I learned how to perform trachea change, g-tube feeding and administer medications via his G-tube, comfort him, I have talked many through and even out of major depression. I cared for my parents and grandmother who was a diabetic and those who had high blood pressure just to mention a few. I realized during these transitions that being a caregiver is such a critical player in a time of need because many family members are unable to stop their day to day lives and provide that much needed attention for their live ones. I promise to be loving and caring to your loved ones, they need the care and attention I have to offer.

I have always loved to care for others . My first caregiver experience was caring for my family members. Overtime I started caring for others outside of my family. I enjoy helping others and bringing joy to others. What I enjoy most is the smile of clients face when I am with them preparing their meal, taking them shopping, watching movies, or just sitting back listening to them tell stories about their experiences. A personal achievement I'm proud of is obtaining my BA while working a full time split shift job.

I am a great caregiver because I truly do love to help in any way I can and always have put natural caring attention in all I do.
