Nursing is a calling, God placed it in my heart.I nurse as if I'm doing it unto the Lord I absolutely LOVE what I do & I'm so blessed through it.I've been voted the best nurse at my facility by my patients.I learn my patients, their individual needs, specific likes/dislikes and personality. I've been a nurse sine 2002 I am & will always be my patient's advocate.Insisting & ensuring they get the highest quality care.I'm very skilled, kind, patient, compassionate, giving & caring. My desire is to touch lives & improve the quality of life for those needing nursing care.I graduated nursing school with a 4.0, finished all but 7 months of RN school & then life happened & financially wasn't able to finish. Now unfortunately many of my classes have expired, but I'm ok with that lvn/rn just long as I'm nursing. I'm a 34yo mother to the BEST 16yo in the WORLD & very happily married woman.I'm originally from GA & I've got the southern drawl to prove it.I love animals of all kinds & believe they're a gift from God. I'm saved by grace through faith (thank you Jesus), I'm spiritual not religious. I'd never push my beliefs on you. I speak through my actions & hope they reflect evidence of something bigger than myself (God) working through me.Experience in staff development, psych care, hospital settings (med-surg & telemetry) & long term care.I have a heart for the elderly.Looking for a better opportunity. Pay is negotiable I became a caregiver because, I have always enjoyed working with people. With just my 10 plus years in customer service, I have enjoyed being a person to help with any need a person may encounter. I would go out of my way to help people. I love the personality of the patients. Sitting with a client and listening to their past stories, bring me joy, or helping them to complete a goal that they may struggle with. Being there just for the little things, someone to keep them company or someone to help them cook a meal. I just love to help. A personal achievement that I am proud of is, A church member, at a church that I use to attend, had surgery. This was my first eye opener to going to school and becoming a caregiver. I really enjoyed helping her get back to living. I'm so glad that I had this opportunity, because not only did I like helping, I felt it gave me a since of direction. I'm a dependable, hardworker, honest, God fearing, lovable, energized person, that dont mind helping anybody. I have 3 kids that I'm thankful for. I'm a neat and tidy person, thats ready to work. I can't wait to join your team. Hi! My name is Allyson. I have many years experience being a caregiver. I always take my job very seriously. I am there to make sure my patient gets the best care possible according to their needs, but I am also there to be a companion and keep my patient company. I have experience with severe Alzheimer's, Dementia, Arthritis, Guillain Barre, Parkinsons Diease, paralyzation, cancer, end of life/hospice care, as well as many other things. I became interested in being a caregiver after my grandparents got to the point where they needed daily care. I knew then that caregiving was for me. It is very important to me to form a bond with each of my patients. Caregiving is not just a job for me, I enjoy the bonds I create with my patients and cherish them. I learn quickly and understand that every person needs different care. It is not always an easy job, but it is worth it! I am always very encouraging, positive, and uplifting with my patients. I believe doing activities appropriate to the patient is very important. I am comfortable running errands, providing transportation to appointments, bathing, dressing, grooming, giving medications when needed, and to simply be an amazing companion.
