Personality traits or expertise; I've got a big heart and I feel that helped me along the way. What attracted me to being a caregiver; I took care of my grandmother when she was in her final stages of life & it was very rewarding. I was also a caregiver for 6 months to a lady whom grew on me like my own grandmother and everyday would push me to go back to school for my certification and has since passed. I have worked in urgent care clinics, assisted living homes, and Alzheimer's/ Dementia units Since October 2013 I have been a full time live in personal caregiver to my grandmother due to her cancer. I enjoy working as a medical assistant and would like to continue doing so as a personal caregiver.
