I have been a caregiver for 28 years. I am able to adapt to a variety of care settings. I love watching people grow and feel confident in their daily skills. I have met hundreds of people over my 28 years of providing occupational therapy and love getting to know each of their stories.

I would like to build my caregiving career becasue I would like to give back to the elderly community for all their great accomplishments and triumph throughtout their lives that gave me the ability to live my life. I haven't offically worked as a caregiver yet but would love the oppertunity to help make a difference in someones life by bringing them great food, fun laughs, great conversation, & the care they need. I am great with people. I'm very understanding of their needs. I listen closely to what they are saying. I'm funny, I love seeing and hearing an elder laugh and be happy. What attracted me to being a caregiver is ever since I was a little I would help my grandpa every time I went to his house, and it always brought me enjoy, so since then I was always wanted to help and take care of my elders. It brings me joy. I enjoy helping my elders, and spending time with them, and getting to know them, and listen to all of their stories about their journeys they experienced throughout their life. I'm proud of being a caregiver, and giving back, and helping them.
