I became a certified nurses assistant in 1987 through state of Indiana. I continued for 23 years. I wanted this type of job since junior high. I love this type of work to see smiles and make tasks easier for those who have a hard time. I too may be there soon. I have done hospice experience for a year and caregiver work around 6 years.

I became a caregiver in 2006 my first client was my grandmother when she needed full time care. That's when I knew that caring for people in need was my calling. I love making lasting relationships with my clients making them feel independent and also giving them a peace of mind. A personal achievement of mine is very simple I love when my clients feel loved by me and look forward to seeing me that drives them to want to accomplish daily activities for themselves. I am a very dependable and simple woman I love giving back to others and helping people comes natural to me. Hello my name is Leslie. I have been a caregiver for 8 years, I started my journey with group home care with the mental disabled. Two years later I started elderly home care, making sure the elderly get a chance to stay in their own homes where they are comfortable is my pleasure. Taking care of the elderly is something I truly enjoy, letting them know they are not alone one day at a time. I can provide many different types of care, depending on the individuals needs. In 2016 I started my own LLC with the hopes of being able to provide more help to families by caring for their elderly family members. I have cared for indivduals in a wide age range and with many different funtion ability levels. No person is the same, I make a care plan to fit the indivduals needs. I like too keep the family as informed as I can about any changed I may see with thier loved one. I am elderly CPR / First aid and AED certified.

I became a registered nurse years ago because there was nothing more important to me than caring for people. I have worked as a home health nurse most of my career and so I have lots of experience that can be utilized but the real joy I received was when I was talking, visiting and caring for my patients. I often wished I could stay all day and so if the request is for dressing, bathing, companionship and other needs without a technical skill that is also perfect because my heart has always been with people not my degree.

I am a recent Bachelors of Science in Health Science graduate working towards pursuing a future career as a Physician Assistant. I have 2 years of patient care experience working with patients in various specialities and settings (e.g., Progressive Critical Cardiovascular, Emergency Department, Orthopedic). I wanted to go into caregiving to gain experience in a different manner outside hospital/clinic settings, taking care of individuals in the comfort of their home and safe space.

I became a caregiver at a young age as my mother was a single mom raising me but also caring for my grandmother who moved in with us when I was just 9. My grandmother suffered from dementia and Parkinson's disease so I quickly learn to adapt to life in her life and mind. I am currently pursing my degree in nursing in hopes to continue my education after obtaining my bachelors onto my masters program. My outgoing personality and ability to adapt to all situations allows me to grow deep connections and maintain wonderful bonds.
