I've been a CNA for 20 year's.I love doing what I do,i so get Senior's and get along very well with them.I really owe it all to my Parent's who instilled in me to alway's Respect your elder's.My father was really proud of me for being in this line of work.I did a lot for him up until he passed{2012}.I have received award's in Dementia/Alzheimer care,outstanding caregiver and employee of the month.I have learned a lot in my 20 year's and still learning.My client's show me every day how blessed i'am.

I love caregiving because it's such an intimate friendship that you get to build with others in our community and it has impacted and inspired me in a positive and powerful way. I started caregiving to help my mom pay bills when I was 15, and I have yet to look back and regret the time I've gotten to spend with people in their golden years of life. I will forever be grateful for the time I have spent with the people I've gotten to care for.

What I believe makes me a great caregiver is because I always go above & beyond for my elders & treat them like my own family. I'm a naturally caring person & that's what I do best. What attracted me to being a caregiver is I have volunteered in the ER with my grandmother, who is a RN & I loved the rush & learning, which led me to going for my CNA license which I accomplished in high school while taking college classes. Hello! My name is Logan and I've been a caregiver for 7 years (longer if you count my personal life) - My brother has epilepsy and I always was a second caregiver to him as he started having seizures when he was only 8 years old, making me 3 months old at the time. I started young working as a PCA at an assisted living facility and after a year of being there I got offered an assistant managers position at Goldenrod, a group home for adults with disabilities. After being there for 3 months I was promoted to Residential Manager of the two homes I oversaw. I love working with people, putting smiles on their faces and more times than not them putting smiles on mine too! I realize this line of work is difficult for some people and it truly isn't for everyone but I believe that you should enjoy what you do especially when you spend so much time doing it and if I'm helping someone even a little, I've had a good day.

I Became a caregiver so I can help people in need of help. I like being a caregiver knowing that what I do at the end of the day helps out in many different ways. I have been a caregiver for 5+ years and I have worked in multiple health care fields with all different types of health issues. I have yet to run into something that I could not handle. Being a nurses assistant is what I do, I have thought about furthering my education multiple times but I keep coming down to the decision that I would not get that one on one time like I do now with my patients/residents. I am very proud of where this career as taken me and how my job makes me feel knowing I put a smile on someone's face and I was the person who was there for them when they didn't have someone to talk to. Everyday I go to work my number 1 goal is to make sure every single person I come in contact with get the best service I could provide with my experience and if I can not answer a question for them then I direct them where to go and also get educated on the answer myself for next time.
