As you can tell from my resume, l am currently working as a Caregiver, with ClarityCaregivers company and my duties mainly are to stay awake at night and keep a close eye on the safety of residents, give them medications and keep record of what happens during my shift. Previously worked as a SupportWorker, tried to encourage clients to live an independent life, attended to their personal care, administered medication, and reported to the Program Coordinator. My proudest moments in these jobs is when dealing with difficult clients bt at the end l was able to get them to calm down and take their medication ( that is where my patience was exercised). I believe that with my excellent all round care skills including personal care, cleaning and meal preparation, being a good listener and communicator with empathy, patience and understanding and being Computer literate with all Microsoft packages makes me an ideal candidate for this particular job.

My favorite is to hear when and how or where they grew up. Its a warm nice feeling. My Mom and Dad both passed from cancer so i have lots of experience from taking care of them. I learned how to clean my Moms trach which i feel is a big achievement for me I sure never thought i could ever do something like that, but it was for my Mom and for her to be able to come home so yes I did learn that and would of moved mountains if needed to be. I have always been known for being a kind person. I learned it from the best! My mother was my greatest idol and taught me very well. Unfortunately I lost her in 2011 to a heart attack. I have worked as a hair stylist in long-term care for over 10 years. I truly love caring and helping the elderly. I have learned how to transfer residence from wheelchair to chair.
