Hello! First and foremost I want to thank you for concerning me to take care of your loved one. I take pride in being a caregiver! A good caregiver is patient, flexible, and has empathy and compassion. Those are exact reasons why I knew I wanted to take care of people! At a very young age I realize that I always wanted to help people. From taking care of younger siblings to my grandpa when he got sick. I have worked as a hair stylist in long-term care for over 10 years. I truly love caring and helping the elderly. I have learned how to transfer residence from wheelchair to chair. I enjoy helping them with daily needs. I love talking and listening to the residents that I have not only worked with but became friends with. I also have great relationships with the family and have kept great communication with them.

I have been a cna for 11 years and a qma for 4 years. I also have my certificate to give insulin. I love taking care of people and I'm currently in school to become a nurse. Since doing agency I always thought about having one client I can take care of, bond with, and be there for them as long as I'm needed. I would first like to explain that I have been a professional registered nurse since 1988. I have been retired for the last 5 years and have been at home. I am a very good and enthusiastic caregiver. I am smart, nurturing and fun to be around. I have always worked in high risk environments from trauma/ emergency departments to intensive care units and medical step-down units. I am at the point in my life where I want to give back. I am settled and wish to be a companion / caregiver for elderly individuals in their homes. I do not have a vehicle, therefore, would not be able to transport any individuals for any errands. I usually find an Uber to get where I am going. My hourly rate is negotiable depending on the distance I must travel to get to my job. My greatest personal achievements would have to be raising my two adult daughters. Both live out of state now and have educations and careers. I have a lot of time on my hands and I just want to make a difference in someone's life. Drug and alcohol free.
