Hello! I am a 21 year old caregiver born and raised in Danville, Kentucky! I am a mother to a 1 year old as well as a nursing student. I will be finished with nursing school in June of 2024. Growing up , my father was always hospitalized due to heart complications which introduced me into nursing , and I consider it 2nd nature. My favorite part of caregiving is helping and giving to others as well as forming new bonds with my clients.

Taking care of others has always been my nature. My brother was handicapped, so I grew up taking care of him a lot. That led to many other jobs helping and taking care of others who had special needs. I enjoy taking care of and helping or just hanging or playing a game or making a puzzle with those I give care to. It's a very gratifying feeling Well I produced and hosted a television show for three years on the PBC . That was a very rewarding experience, which I had the pleasure of sharing in it with my daughter who was 15 at the time. It became a huge part of the city we lived in and we became quite popular!

I am a very patient and understanding person. I take time to get to know the resident or patient. I try to understand their condition and needs on a personal level, in order to find the best approach. I am a very strong and hard working individual that has a very strong love for the nursing field. I enjoy it when I gain the respect and love of the resident/Patient. I'm am proud to say that my greatest achievements is that I have always been able to maintain a positive relationship with all of my residents . As a Nurse aide I provide direct patient care in nursing homes and in other settings such as hospital long-term care wards, community rehabilitation or private home settings. Duties can include taking vital signs, assisting residents to move about the home or facility, helping them manage their meals and use bathroom facilities, transferring, turning, lifting or positioning bedridden patients, offering emotional support, rehabilitative exercises, bathing, grooming, feeding, and all other aspects of care as allowed by state laws and regulations.
