Being a caregiver is more than a job. It is a passion. It is important to me that we give back and take care of the elder generation. I have always loved helping others and being a very outgoing and caring person, this has always been a great job for me. I have pride in the work I do. Some of my personal traits and being a caregiver is my love for the job. I have always love to help people regardless of the situation and there is a shortage on good people and honest people. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my great grandmother and my mom. When my great grandmother got very ill we took care of her until her last days that meant feeding bathing changing colostomy bag changing catheter And just being a companion. I also help my mom take care of a autistic girl for five years. The thing I love most about being a caregiver is the people you meet along the way and a wonderful stories you hear. When I look at my mother I know one day she may or may not be in a situation to need me so I want plenty of practice along the way. One of my biggest achievement was graduating from the phlebotomy school last year. My other biggest achievement is continuing to take care of my special needs son and my other job while balancing out life and everything around me

I'm very patient, calm, easygoing and respectful of every human being. I have extensive knowledge of dementia/Alzheimer's disease. It may sound cliche, but I absolutely love helping people! What I enjoy most about caregiving is the bond that develops between the caregiver and client. What I'm most proud of is making a positive difference in people's lives!

I am a mother of 4 (lord do they keep me busy) I love being a caregiver. I've been a CNA for 10 years now and I admire elderly people. I realized that this was my career choice once I sat and held many elderly hands and became their family. The bonds are sometimes short lived but they are worth it. I'm a talker and I love laughing.
