My personal traits that has help me become a great caregiver is that I'm a personable person. What attracted me was willingness to help the elderly. What I enjoy most is being able to interact with different residents/patients. My personal achievement that I am proud of is graduating as a Medical Assistant.

Some of my personal traits and being a caregiver is my love for the job. I have always love to help people regardless of the situation and there is a shortage on good people and honest people. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my great grandmother and my mom. When my great grandmother got very ill we took care of her until her last days that meant feeding bathing changing colostomy bag changing catheter And just being a companion. I also help my mom take care of a autistic girl for five years. The thing I love most about being a caregiver is the people you meet along the way and a wonderful stories you hear. When I look at my mother I know one day she may or may not be in a situation to need me so I want plenty of practice along the way. One of my biggest achievement was graduating from the phlebotomy school last year. My other biggest achievement is continuing to take care of my special needs son and my other job while balancing out life and everything around me

I am very compassionate, honest and reliable. I have been an occupational therapist for several years and now I am looking to do something different. I love working especially with older adults and find they can be the best conversationalist and also a wealth of knowledge about life : ) Because of my professional experience, I am comfortable working with anyone who has physical or cognitive special needs. My hobbies are hiking, gardening, photography, and traveling. I am a Christian and an empty nester and l look forward to finding someone that will be a good fit and need my services.

As a small girl, I always wanted to help the elderly and anyone less fortunate than me.I was raised by 2 very loving, church going parents. The most important thing I love about being a caregiver is the gratification of knowing that I am appreciated in my responsibilities. In 2019 my grandmother was diagnosed with bladder cancer, shortly after her starting chemo she began to get extremely sick. During this transition me and my mother were her caregivers. We performed all of her hygiene needs , medical needs and gave her the companionship and comfort that she needed. She passed away August 22nd of 2020 which led me to want to become a caregiver and care for those that were in her shoes.

I am a mother of 4 (lord do they keep me busy) I love being a caregiver. I've been a CNA for 10 years now and I admire elderly people. I realized that this was my career choice once I sat and held many elderly hands and became their family. The bonds are sometimes short lived but they are worth it. I'm a talker and I love laughing. I can't go a day without making someone else smile, no matter how I'm feeling. I am the live definition of a people person.!

I am a caring and compassionate person. I enjoy working with family's and individual care. I have been doing this since I was younger in homes, and recently got my CNAs and am currently employed in a skilled nursing facility. I love my job and my individuals. I love getting to know the individuals and forming relationships with them. I got into home care because I wanted to help, I wanted to be there for people who needed it. I have a lot of experience working with people from many different backgrounds, I am CPR and first aid certified for all ages and AED certified. Trained on de-escalation and on trauma Informed. I am a 34 year old mother of three beautiful children ages 13(Aaniyah), 5(Demontre) & 4(Demi) I have been certified as a nurses assistant for over 12 years and have been in health care for over 15 years. I am currently enrolled at ATA College for my LPN I will be graduating this July of 2022. I truly love what I do, I love providing care for people in need. I'm so excited about taking my career to the next level but obtaining my nursing degree.
