I have a great personality. I am very dependable, patient, pay attention to detail. Taking care of family members attracted me to wanting to be a caregiver. What i enjoy most about caregiving is i like taking care of others, especially the one's that can't do it on their own or need some assistance. One of my personal achievements that i am proud of is starting college.

When I look at my mother I know one day she may or may not be in a situation to need me so I want plenty of practice along the way. One of my biggest achievement was graduating from the phlebotomy school last year. My other biggest achievement is continuing to take care of my special needs son and my other job while balancing out life and everything around me

I am available Monday-Friday Time is optional due to family needs. Also I'm available some weekends I'm very flexible.

I am a 54 years old from Banjul the Gambia W/Africa I came to the US since 1992 with my family,then in 1993 I started as a .HHA and then become as a CNA in 1994 I like to help people that's what makes be join the home care field I am license and certified I worked with Alzheimer's, Dementia and Hospice patients .

In 2019 my grandmother was diagnosed with bladder cancer, shortly after her starting chemo she began to get extremely sick. During this transition me and my mother were her caregivers. We performed all of her hygiene needs , medical needs and gave her the companionship and comfort that she needed. She passed away August 22nd of 2020 which led me to want to become a caregiver and care for those that were in her shoes.

I am a mother of 4 (lord do they keep me busy) I love being a caregiver. I've been a CNA for 10 years now and I admire elderly people. I realized that this was my career choice once I sat and held many elderly hands and became their family. The bonds are sometimes short lived but they are worth it. I'm a talker and I love laughing. I can't go a day without making someone else smile, no matter how I'm feeling. I am the live definition of a people person.!
