I have been in the home health field for six years going on my seventh year the end of August. I have always have the heart to help others. I started my career and I fell in love instantly. The most rewarding aspect of this job is being able to be apart of individuals lives and hearing about their lives while growing! I have worked with individuals multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, Cereal palsy, and much more, from veterans, and individuals with mental disabilities.

I have time and patience for each one of my clients. I strive to make each one top priority when I am with them. My mom and grandmother are nurses and I use to go to work with them. Seeing there patience face light up when they got to work was great. Then watch how they took care of each one. It inspired me to make a difference. I love meeting new people. Traveling to different places. Meeting the families. I am a people person. My greatest achievement is finishing college while raising a family and working.

I feel like the traits that make me a good caregiver are that I am patient, honest, empathetic, and easy to get along with. I have been a caregiver most all of my life. I was adopted by my grandparents and grew up assisting to caregive for my grandmother, who was a stroke victim. As an adult, I have been a caregiver to multiple clients with varying degrees of both mental and physical disabilities. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the satisfaction of helping make a difference in the quality of lives for others. One personal achievement I am proud of is earning an Associate degree in Business Management, and graduating with honors.
