To help with the tasks that were once easy but have became a burden. I cook and I clean and I also love to talk!!! I became a care giver because I was an LPN and was injured on a job, and I still wanted to take care of people. My mother had Alzheimer's and I realized it was really hard finding dependable caregivers that really cared for patients. I give each patient my undivided attention and treat them like they are my mom or dad, and make them feel like they are the most important person in the world.

Hi my name is Dana. I am a mother of five beautiful children three girls and two boys. I have been in the healthcare industry since 2009, it's a passion I have. I was born to help people and be there for anyone that needs it. I am cpr and first aide certified. I truly just want to be someone's helping hand or just someone that's there.

I became a caregiver when my mother became really ill. I took care of her and took her to her doctors appointments and gave her all her medicines. I stayed with her for 19 days until she passed away. I also did the same for my mother in law until she passed. Now I am taking care of my 85 yr old father which has hypertension, diabetes, and dementia. I went to practical nursing school and received my diploma, but did not pass my test to receive my license. I am CPR certified, as well as a CNA. I love to take care of elderly people. I love to sit and talk with them. I love to encourage them to eat all their food. I connect very well with the elderly and they connect with me. I am very loving and understanding and patience. I was the oldest in my nursing program. I had 6 children that I raised on my own, working 2 jobs most of my life. I want to retake my nclex test so I can receive my license and become a LPN.

I was told at the age of 12 I was going to be a caregiver. Caregiving for the elderly is my life's work. I truly enjoy it. My greatest accomplishment has been learning how to do an in and out cath(female) by the patient herself!!

I'm currently a Nursing student, will be graduating in December. In my free time I typically do CNA work , caregiving and also baby sitting. I'm certified CNA and also CPR certified.
