I have been a caregiver for over 30 years. I began as a teenager in nursing homes but found in home care when I was a personal trainer. I was training a client in her home and it was then that I decided I wanted to spend more time helping the elderly remain in their homes. I am very easy going but I'm a a great worker. I do my best to help each individual maintain their dignity and respect while maintaining as much independence as possible. I enjoy the fact that people are comfortable with me at a time when someone must come into their environment which has been sacred to them for so long. It's not easy but I think I make it a bit easier.

I've been a care giver for the past21 years owned and operated a licensed child care for 15 years then because of my parents aging took over their care for four years and decided to go into adult care because of the need and quality that I found lacking started in may and in 2009 began a home caregiver with some training started catering for variety of clients with various needs physical and mental disabilities doing cleaning outings meal preparations appointments home organizing and dr app and conversation companionship I'm have a high work ethic and will undergo drug testing and a Cory I'm extremely active love the outdoors owns variety of fowl and have dogs and do client pet cate also love dogs and cats married for over 30 years have 4 grown children have a vehicle that is perfect for transporting seniors I've work with many seniors around the cape and care companies such as visiting angels

I always take pride in being a caregiver to someone. I love being able to help someone who can no longer help themselves. I look at it as if this was one of my family members and i would want them in the best care possible. I always try and make the person feel as comfortable as possible as i am sure it is not easy to be able to do all the things in life that you are used to being able to do. I am very positive and outgoing and a very nice person.

I choose being a caregiver because i want to make this world a better place fullfiling Gods purpose for me on earth. Knowing am caring for someone seeing the taken care off and at the end of the day it make there lives easier and comfortable is a joy to my soul. I enjoy being a caregiver because i love babies and the Elderly reminds me off them,and i naturally love to served. What i enjoy most being a caregiver is to see people happy and realize they are loved and care for by others My achievement that am proud of going to school getting the relivant training to carry out my duties professionally.
