Hello families, I am a , CNA- Certified Nurse Assisted. I have been working in the medical and non medical fields of healthcare for 22 years. I specialize in homecare, but I have worked 1:1 with a broad range of clients and patients from ages 0-105 years old. I have worked with geriatric clients in different facilities like, ALF, ACF, ADLF, SNF and more. I obtained my CNA certificate in 1997 from a well known community college. I also attended my clinicals at a very well known hospital. I enjoy what I do and I will continue to provide care to the ones in need. As long as I can put a smile on my clients/patients face at the end of the day I'm happy when I have made them happy.

I am a very caring person, sensitive to people's condition and do my work diligently making sure that the privacy of my clients is always protected. As I looked after my nun with a stroke till she passed, I got drawn more to offering more help to people who need them most. I enjoy talking and listening to various stories of my clients since they are very insightful and my personal achievement was when I had to do a CPR on someone to prevent death.

Having worked in the healthcare field for over 31 years. Caregiving for 27 years. I have found assisting people to either regain or maintain their health has been rewarding. However my most rewarding has been assisting the elderly as well as physical and or mentally challenged meet their health goals. As our population grows older, and health challenged, I feel the best respect you can give them is to assist them in maintaining as much of their independence as possible. I am very caring and I'm hardworking! I pay attention to every detail and I'm a solution based person. I'm very helpful, I love helping people and I base my life around doing for others. What made me want to be a caregiver is having the heart that I do, knowing I would succeed in an area where I can advocate needs of others, show compassion and treat people with care. I wanted to work in a people related field because I plan on being a psychologist so I want to have as much experience with different types of people. One personal achievement I have is I created an activity club with over 100 activities to choose from ; to help kill time and occupy the individuals at the vocational center. I am a very patient, loving and caring person with a passion for helping people in need. I love to be depended on and I love meeting new people and learning new things. That's what I enjoy most about being a caregiver, the experience and having someone depending on you is a heartwarming feeling to me. One personal achievement I am proud of is completing two associates degrees back to back, it was a challenge.

1. I am currently retired and unemployed, but seeking a position which would not require me to supervise or manage other employees. 2. I feel it gives me a little flexibility in work hours and responsibilities, while providing companionship to a senior citizen in need of services. 3. I went back to school at age 55 to become an Aesthetician. Being the oldest student in the class, graduating ( in spite of an injury which caused me to lose 3 mos out of class, but coming back and graduating WITH my class) and passing my State Boards to obtain my license. 4. I have worked over the last 40+ years, in various positions, in corporate America. I would like to be of assistance to someone who needs a little attention, and care, to make a difference in their life.
