I have been doing home health care for over 20 yrs now. I love my job and what I do. If I can make someone's life easier then I know I have done my job. I Love people And not just anyone can do this kind of work. You have to have a passion for people, and that's what I have. Every client I have had love my work. I'm good at what I do because I love what I do.

I've known I wanted to work in healthcare since 8th grade. I've always felt that caring for others in some capacity is my calling. Nothing brings me more joy and pride than helping others. What I most enjoy about being a caregiver is being given the opportunity day after day to be a positive in others' lives.

My name is Angelica and Ive been a caregiver for 16 years. I'm very good at what I do. I care for kids, seniors, and special needs people. I'm a very happy person. I love to cook, clean, I love to be organized. The thing that made me become a caregiver I use the care for my grandma before she passed away and also cared for my aunt that has scoliosis. So that made me a strong helpful person , Also when I see a person struggling with their groceries outside of the stores I like to help people put them in the car or holding a door open and etc. I'm a very caring person. I like to do a little bit more then my job Duty but as long as if that's okay with you like helping around the house or anything else . Also love doing hair, I cut, I color hair, and style and also do nails.

I enjoy being with the elderly. Making meals and conversation. I can perform light housekeeping. I have strong work ethics. I am kind and non intrusive. I have my own car. I have been providing care for the elderly for one year now. I have worked in many homes with many ages and also in Caregiving facilities.

I've been a Certified Nurse Assistant for 10 years, I love what I do and enjoy helping others. Nursing has always been my calling. I will be graduating in 2022 with my RN.

I have always had a deep passion for people. If there is anything I can do to brighten someones day, I do my best to do just that. I want to get into caregiving because of many personal experiences I have gone through. A year and a half ago my brother had a brain tumor and had to undergo surgery. I worked with him everyday and watching him regain his strength. This was one of the most rewarding things in my life. My grandparents are very valuable people to me of whom I love to provide companionship for. I love listening to their stories, going on walks and talking about hard topics in order to spark deep conversations. Although I have no actual experience in this line of work, I am willing to do whatever it takes to learn and be the best at the jobs I am presented with. I am very proud of the jobs I have had in the past. I work hard and the most important thing to me in a job is building relationships with others. Everywhere I have worked, I have built a new family; and this is something I am truly proud of. This makes work more enjoyable for everyone involved.

I am currently a lab assistant/phlebotomist working for Mercy Health in Muskegon, MI. In early June 2018, I will be relocating to Seguin, TX to be closer to my family. Since November of 2016, I have worked part to full time as a traveling lab assistant at two separate geriatric/long-term care facilities, while also working in both inpatient hospital settings and outpatient draw stations. During this time I have constant interaction with patients of all ages, and heavy exposure to geriatric care and care settings, ranging from assisted living care, short-term nursing home recovery, to hospice care. I am passionate about providing quality, dedicated care to my patients, and peace of mind to their families. I love cooking and meal prep and am more than able to accommodate cooking and shopping based on dietary needs. I am more than capable and willing to help with any extra cooking, cleaning, and errands, as well as offer companionship. My favorite part of working in healthcare has always been working to achieve comfort and happiness for my patient while giving them the quality care that I would expect any caregiver to give to a member of my own family.

I am an avid reader and a -new- gardener, i enjoy rainy days, the holidays, baking and air conditioning in the summer. I am very compassionate, and patient. I love caregiving because It isn't a job that is repetitive, I meet so many new faces, hear so many lovely stories, and feel the reward of showing strangers compassion as we become more than strangers throughout our time together! I was raised by my grandparents, and they would always joke with me and say "just you wait, you will be my age someday!" And that has really stuck with me, I do believe that every young person will have the honor of becoming a senior citizen, and I can only hope to take care of them the way I'd like to be taken care of someday
