I have been doing home health care for over 20 yrs now. I love my job and what I do. If I can make someone's life easier then I know I have done my job. I Love people And not just anyone can do this kind of work. You have to have a passion for people, and that's what I have. Every client I have had love my work. I'm good at what I do because I love what I do.

I became a registered nurse right out of high school. I let my license lapse so I could stay home and take care of my family. Now of course I went back to what I love which is being a caregiver. I'm somewhat of an overachiever. I strive every day to make sure the patient feels secure and well cared for.Their happiness is my happiness.

I'm reliable, honest, trustworthy, and driven. I've had a passion for helping others since I was younger, at just about 12 years of age. What I enjoy most is being able to be a helping hand and someone others can count on when in need. I'm proud of the amount of years I put in to the senior community and was given many opportunities to build in this field.

Some personality traits about myself is that I'm outgoing, caring and honest when it comes to my work and always try doing my best job at any task that I'm given. Helping my grandmother take care of my great grandmother attracted me to become a caregiver, helping others you love is an unmatched feeling. I enjoy being able to make the clients smile and happy knowing I made their day easier just by being a helping hand. A personal achievement I'm proud of is still being in college although I ran into some obstacles along the way.

Love feeling needed. Also love giving the patient the best, day possible. Love to watch old movies, bring old postcards, or cook be dishes their mother made in the past. Miss my own grandparents terribly. Caregiving fills that void for me. Love, it when my patients relive the past, and feel young again! Proud of taking care of people and helping them regain joy, in their last days.

Hello! My name is Annie & thank you for visiting my profile! :) I was a Special Education major for 4.5 years & absolutely loved every minute, but decided it wasn't the right path for me. I started as a RA and decided to go get my CNA license & I'm so thankful I did! I have learned so much over the past 2 years & I'm so very thankful that I work with a fantastic nurse who's willing to show me nursing "things". I can definitely tell you I never ever imagined myself being anywhere near the healthcare field, but have enjoyed myself so far & looking forward to the future! I enjoy being a caregiver because of the 1 to 1 relationships that develop. I like helping patients and seeing them get stronger day by day. I like keeping active with patients wether it be physical activities or mental activities. I enjoy learning about my patients, their history & being a source of support and encouragement. Not a lot bothers me when it comes to bodily functions & find myself able to deal with/handle situations that arise. In my personal life, I enjoy reading, exploring new places around Michigan, watching Netflix & am a freelance photographer. One of my latest enjoyments are plants & I've learned I have a pretty good green thumb! I have a fur baby named Theodore who is my best little buddy. :)
