I have been caring for people my entire life from the age of 10 when my mom became ill I care for my 6 siblings. I have worked as a nursing assistant, Hospice aid, Dialysis tech and the past 7 years as an activities assistant in a nursing home/ rehab. As a child my Great Aunt and Grandma lived with us until they pasted away, most recently I took a leave from work to move in and care for my Dad so he could pass away in his own home. I am a caring, loving, understanding and paient person who enjoys the company of a variety of ages and personallities. I was also a toddler teacher at a headstart program which I truelly enjoyed. I am a single mother of 3 grown children and the Grandmother of 9 . I am very active and enjoy camping, biking and hikes with my sibling, neices, nephews, children and grandchildren. I have a dog named Willie who has been working with me at the nursing home for 4 1/2 years and has been a joy to many of the Residents.

I have grown up around nursing homes and group homes. My mother was CNA when I was young and I always loved spending my days there. I enjoy working directly with individuals to make their day easier and better. I like being able to connect with residents and being able to enjoy spending time together. I'm very proud of completing school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Although my license has lapsed, I would love to go back and re-ceritify.
