I started my career of caregiving In 1983 where I provided in home care for an elderly lady for 18 months. In 1984 I worked for Minnesota DHS with developmentally disabled persons. In 1989 I began working for the Minnesota DOC until I retired in 2020. I love to help people achieve their goals and I really enjoy seeing people happy. I am currently teaching myself some wood working, furniture refinishing and some art.

I've always wanted to help others and after helping with my grandparents, I knew healthcare was for me. I'm passionate about giving someone the best care possible, as well as, ensuring the family members know they can trust me. I have a long line of care takers in my family so it's always been my passion to help people live their lives to the fullest. It brings me joy to watch the worry fall off their shoulders the minute I walk through the door. Every one of my clients are treated as if they were my own family. I have 16 years of medical background and people skills. I worked under the Director of Breast Oncology and have a history of Oncology care. I am looking for a part-time career change. I would love to transition into home care with helping adult or children. I enjoy caring for and helping people. With my background, I have developed some special relationships with the patients I have cared for. Which, made it difficult when they passed. But, very rewarding knowing that you did everything to make them more comfortable and happy to come to their appointments. I am sensitive to special needs and very compassionate at what I do.
