Honest and caring. I have been working in homecare for 10 years.

I became a caregiver because I love to serve and help the needy. Before I started a job as a caregiver, I volunteered at the Pre-Ops of Sinai hospital in Baltimore forsix (6) hours, 3 days a week.I care about people, I am a very loving and caring person, full of empathy and I am learning so much in this chosen career from my clients. I am full of joy, I love to sing, read them poems and sometimes we dance together. I love to dress them up. We play cards sometime and some of them watch their favorite game show on T.V and cooking is also a delight to me. I am a great companion on my one -one cases because I love to be fulfilled at work too.

I've always wanted to help others and after helping with my grandparents, I knew healthcare was for me. I'm passionate about giving someone the best care possible, as well as, ensuring the family members know they can trust me. I take pride in my work and do what is expected, because I would want the same for my family members. I'll be attending nursing school in the fall.

I have a long line of care takers in my family so it's always been my passion to help people live their lives to the fullest. It brings me joy to watch the worry fall off their shoulders the minute I walk through the door. Every one of my clients are treated as if they were my own family. I am most proud of my ability to have patients. I have been pushed to my limit several times but I can always remain calm and talk my way through those crisis. I make friends easily but yet manage to stay professional in my work places. I'm a very relaxed and approachable person, I feel that's very important in my field.

I am a very down to earth, kind hearted person. I have always loved taking care of people, whether it be babies/kids or the elderly. I love being able to help people and it is very rewarding being a caregiver. Giving them companionship is so rewarding, especially if they don't have family/friends nearby.

1. I'm a Certified nursing assistant( CNA and also a certified medication aid (TMA) starting as a RA than CNA and now a Trained medications aid. Have a excellent experience in this field for 14 years. 2. I always wanted to be a RN . 3. Helping people achieve their daily goals, Seeing residents happy that they have achieve their meaningful goals on a daily basis makes me happy that I could be a part of their dreams come true. 4. Making sure residents or clients are well taken care of and meeting their daily goals.

I have been a caregiver to my 92 year old mother, as well as others and currently live in a independent senior living apartment complex, even though I am not old enough to be here. As a college graduate in Special Education, I am a nurturer by nature and am compassionate, very patient and a great listener. I have taken pre-nursing classes and am a certified massage therapist. Being a massage therapist also brings an added touch to my abilities to bring comfort and care to my clients. I love people and brightening up their day. This is a very rewarding opportunity to be of service. I also have a dog, if a client is interested, who is very well behaved and loving. I think my biggest achievement is a tie between raising 3 amazing daughters as a single parent and going off to China to live for a year. It was a wonderful experience!

I'm a born again man 40 years, I have passion in serving the needy and elderly people. I find fulfillment in doing that. I believe in serving humanity and by doing that I'm serving God. Do unto others the way you would want them do to you.

I know this sounds lame, but I always knew I wanted to be a nurse. I love the rewarding feeling I get from giving. Now, when I was a kid that was another story. I carried all of my toys in a brown grocery bag and you would have to fight me to get me to share! I love listening and learning from others. I feel that this has only improved my caregiving skills. I have worked with all ages, races, religions, disabilities and I treat each person the same. We all deserve dignity and respect regardless of our situation. I'm kind, but love to laugh and have a good time. Most importantly I know how to act appropriate for the situation. I believe an achievement that I can truly be proud of everyday is that I have the ability to take life as it comes and always put things into perspective. I hold my family close to my heart. I can provide a reciprocal relationship of professional care and companionship.

I am loving, patient and kind. I enjoy taking elderly people out to eat, to take them where they want to go. I enjoy being a companion. I have been a caring daughter to my elderly parents, I have been a good friend and neighbor to an 83 year old lady.
