I am excellent at assisting individuals who have difficulty performing basic day-to-day activities, for example, the elderly, disabled persons, or people suffering from chronic or mental disorders. Which include assisting with personal care, administering medication, and providing companionship. I enjoy the flexibility and independence in with my work. I enjoy working one-on-one with someone and developing a relationship with my clients. I am creative and think on my feet. I like tasks such as cooking for someone, helping with errands/shopping, conversing and participating in activities with your client. A little about me I am a student here in Jacksonville I got to miller motte college I am enrolled in medical assistant. I am also a military family (Wife) I have a daughter and I'm a hard worker. I love what I do as a caregiver/home aide. I have been doing it for 6 years on and off . I also have been a nursing assistant at hospital nursing homes etc for 3. I have experience in everything including dementia, limb removal, hospice care more.

I'm a very cheerful person who enjoys caring for others. I became a caregiver in 2018 and thought I'm not sure if this is for me but we will see! Well 4 almost 5 years Later I love what I do no matter the person, age or problems they have Being able to help someone and be their friend at the same time make me enjoy my work much more. Being a healthcare worker is more than just a job/career to me it's my life and I enjoy every bit of it. My most recent achievement I am proud of as a caregiver was helping an elderly lady a couple of houses down from me and she had fallen outside there was no one around to help her at the time, my family and I had come home from a night out so I put my children in the house and ran over to make sure she was okay and proceeded to help her up check her scratches and bruises out and help her inside her home. It was actually the same lady who gave me a hard time at one point but that time nothing else mattered.

Hello I am a Healthcare Professional with a small Home Health company (CherishUCare) accepting new clients NOW. I currently have hospital, hospice care and Assisted living experience. I am compassionate and respectful when it comes to providing care for disabled, elderly and children. I am willing to travel, administer medication and assist with daily living. My passion for caregiving began when I was a young girl. Always wanting to help others. The things I enjoy most is feeling and knowing that I somehow accomplished helping someone's day be better.

I believe the traits that help you achieve being a great caregiver are always being kind and compassionate, understanding, and do everything with care. I was attracted to being a caregiver at a young age, I've always loved to help people and when my grandmother got sick I was always there to help. It's just an instinct I've always had. The things I enjoy most about caregiving is the love that comes from it, regardless if the day went by smooth or if it was a bumpy one you can always go home knowing you helped someone else out. One of the main achievements for me at this point in my life is just that I make it home at night and wake up the next morning. Tomorrow isn't promised so just being here is an achievement.
