My mother motivated me to get in this field ,as she had been diagnosed with lung cancer at the age of 65. Unfortunately she passed away at 67 , which will be 20 years this October. What attracted me to caregiving was the first time I was asked to go shopping for an elderly lady & sat and talked with her for a while.
