I'm a compassionate, empathetic,caring person that enjoys helping others. I've been a care professional since 1999 and have worked in all levels of healthcare from nursing homes, to in home care, to rehabilitation centers. I've also attending training for Medical Assistant and have my certification of completion. I've worked with people that suffered from all ailments from dementia, Alzheimer's, COPD, to memory disorders to name a few. The achievement that I'm most proud of would be returning back to school and completing my Associates in Science degree, and getting accepted into Temple for my Bachelor's in Science.

I genuinely care about my clients. In addition to doing my job in a professional manner, I treat all of my clients with kindness, respect, and dignity. As a teen, I helped my mother care for my grandmother and always enjoyed spending time with her. My own mother is a dementia patient with diabetes and I am involved in her care as well. I truly enjoy working with seniors assisting them with independence and a better quality of life.

I've been a CNA since 1998. I've been working in phych for 13 of those years. I'm CPR/ First Aide certified. As a phych tech I'm skilled in ADL's , Blood Draws, finger sticks, feeding, grooming ext. Hello & I hope you're doing well. My name is Mare & I was born and raised in Charlotte North Carolina. My interest in care giving began in 1982 when I gave birth to my daughter. Tiffany was born @ CMC w/ no right kidney & only a piece of a left kidney. That's when my caregiving actually began, however I had always wanted to be a nurse. Tiffany had several episodes of heart failure, as well as many seizures. I took the opportunity to learn as much as possible in order to help her in every way I could. Tiffany and I were referred to The Children's Hospital of Alabama where I was taught how to perform peritoneal dialysis. I treated her with paritoneal dialysis in my home for approximately one year. At that time, doctors decided she had to have a transplant. At 18 months, Tiffany was given one of my kidneys. She was put on a great deal of medications and there was a lot of care given to her over her lifespan of 28 years. After Tiffany's passing, I followed my interest in caregiving by working at a hospital as well as an assisted living company. I am a very friendly, patient & caring person who has been taught how to deescalate issues if they arise. I'm also a great listener which makes me believe I am a great companion for those who need it. I would enjoy meeting you and your loved one to see if I can help with their care. I love doing what I do and care deeply about the effect I have on others I am caring for. I have a versatile personality that enables me to get along with various clients. My main focus is to make my clients' lives a little easier, to built trust, provide encouragement, companionship and quality care. I basically treat others how I would want to be treated.
