Hello! I've been a CNA for over 7 years now. I also have been doing home care for almost 2 years. I love working in the medical field. I prefer home care over the nursing facilities however. I love the 1 on 1 time I get to spend with my clients.

I am a very caring and lovable person. I enjoy helping others the best that i possibly can. When i was younger I use to go to work with my step mom who was a CNA and i enjoyed being able to make a diffrrence in the residents lifes. The thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver, is that i actually get to take time out of my day to meet new people and put a smile on others faces. 1 why did I become a caregiver....I was a caregiver way before I became certified I think I was 13 when I started caring for people its in my nature to help because I love it. it makes me feel good I can help someone that cant help themselves 2 what do I like about being a caregiver....I like helping people I like learning about the person because everybody is different there stories there history where they came from rich/poor how they got to where they are what they use to do 3 what is my personal achievement that I am proud of .....I would say my CNA CERT because the first time I tried to do the training I ended up with pneumonia so I tried it again got all the way to the testing part and ended up late started early but ended up behind a school bus in the middle of winter and made me late so I was failed so tried a 3rd time and passed at the top of my class with 100% 4 tell something about myself ....I started out in factory work and hated it wanted something that was always changing something that I could grow with so in 1995 I took myself and a friend to an agency to do there HHA training and passed and in Nov of 2012 took a CNA training and passed I would like to go to school for dental assisting next or massage therapy

I am self driven self motivated, strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. I find caring for others very satisfying and fulfilling. I have a reputation for excellence and high quality service for my residents and family members. Highly creative and innovated; willing to learn skills and techniques. My favorite part of being a care giver is helping the people feel safe secure and cared for, and allowing the families to find peace and happiness knowing I can take some of the responsibility off their shoulders.
