My journey into Home Health, Hospice and Caregiving started unexpectedly and quite personally. My then 16-year old daughter was diagnosed with a very rare malignant brain tumor. Fast forward 21 years. Although I enjoyed a very successful career as an IT Consultant, it was not emotionally satisfying. I am a caregiver at heart. I have cared for a young woman, now a young adult since her diagnosis with muscular dystrophy as a child. This is on an as-needed basis and she now enjoys independence in her own home. Working with my elderly families has been extremely rewarding. And caring for someone in their final season of life is something God put me on this earth to do. I raise an amazing teen granddaughter and she keeps me young at heart. Her love for pets keeps me on my toes with her two dogs, one cat and Waldo - her turtle. I am enrolling in the WINGS program and will receive my Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA)/Home Health Aide Certification in fall of 2020. This will be immediately followed by their Medication Management Certification program. Although I have performed in these roles and more for two decades, I have only recently decided to accomplish these Certifications. *Note, Any overnight, weekend or holiday shifts will be on an exception basis only*

Hello! My name is Krystal! I am 27, I have two children! I have been a caregiver since childhood, it just came natural. My uncle was handicapped, and a slight medical miracle, his continuing life surprising us every day. I spent my childhood taking care of him with family. At age 6, my cousin was in a car accident and left a quadriplegic with a severe wound in his stomach that required a wound vac, a halo, and several tubes and IV's. Carefully, I always helped with almost all of his care needed. My mother managed the Alzheimer's unit in a nursing home, I spent almost every day there after school. My passion only grew. I started CNA classes in 2010 in high school, finished in 2012 and started work in my local nursing home soon after. I've continued to work my way up, and had dreams of being a pediatric surgeon, but my children and seeing them grow up was more important than my career. I need to be here for all of their small moments. I've been working from home lately, and while I feel my current job does have a purpose, I would love to be back out there, actually caring for my people face to face. I miss the interactions and connections I build with them and their families.

I am a 38 yr old mother to one child. I enjoy working with patients in need because at the end of the day I have this amazing feeling that is so rewarding. I deeply care about my patients and making sure their needs are fulfilled each day that I see them! I always assure my patients that I'm just a phone call away day or night and whether I'm on the clock or off the clock. They're very important to me. The feeling of helping someone in areas they cannot maintain themselves or need some assistance with is such a rewarding feeling! I enjoy prepping meals and making patients happy in their own homes and helping them to feel the best they can! I am familiar with dealing with dementia, hard of hearing, and blind patients as well as bathing patients with special needs such as covering dialysis ports, etc to make sure they don't get wet during showering. Caregiving is not just a job to me...It is a personal one on one experience that is unique to each patient!

After nursing school, I worked @ nursing facility . I enjoyed very much caring for the elderly. After 10yrs, working I decided, to do private,work. I'm dependable trust worthy,& honest punctual. I care very much about my professional I have worked as a caregiver for 15 to 20 years.

Since I can remember I have always cared for others and took care of those around me. By age 13 I was living and caring for my Type One Diabetic Granny. She was a retired RN, my mom was a RN, and my Aunt is a RN. It was my goal to follow in the same footsteps as the woman in my life. Unfortunately I never got my RN degree and started my family instead. However, I graduated High school a certified CNA and HHA after attending Francis Tuttle Vo-tech my Junior and Senior year of High School. I am a very energetic and easy to get along with person. My mother always said, "I never met a stranger." I am a 6 ft tall female so naturally I was expected to play basketball. I attended basketball camp one year because all my friends were not cause I cared about playing. I came home with every girls phone numbers from the camp and a plaque for " Miss Congeniality." They specially had made for me because I had no interest in the game but they wanted to recognize me because they had never seen a girl that absolutely got along with every girl and and staff member there before. I get a sense of enjoyment from caring for those who cannot care for themselves and was raised to respect others around me, especially those older and wiser than me no matter what.

I believe I am a great caregiver for the simple fact I develop a personal connection with each and every one of my clients I am very outgoing and kind. I am a great advocate for my clients and always put their wants and needs above all. I have received multiple thank you notes from multiple employers for going above and beyond.

I have worked in skilled nursing facilities for 12 years and home health for 4 years. I love working with the elderly and have a strong desire to help people live the best life as independently as possible. I want to help people stay in their own home as long as possible. I am very patient, caring, genuine, trustworthy, positive attitude, get along with everyone.

I am a certified medical assistant. I am prior military so I am very displined and dedicated. I work hard and have flexible hours. I can draw blood, pass out meds, along with other great skills I learned in school.
