I started helping my mom with my dad when I was 14 yrs old after he had a stroke. I fell in love with helping people. My favorite thing about being a caregiver aside from helping them with what they need is the bonds that are formed. The clients sort of become family. I'm a mom to 2 kids and bonus mom to 3 others. Raising them in this dark world to be kind and loving and respectful as well as respectable is my biggest accomplishment.

I got my start in elderly care at the young age of 10 years old. My parents built their own beautiful assisted living center when their parents needed that extra attention. They wanted to avoid the long hallways, strong odors, and seemingly lack of care and concern for our elders you often find in nursing homes. Your loved one is not a number among dozens to be dealt with. They are family, and I'm here to aid them in the sunset years of their life with authentic respect and compassion. After a service mission abroad where I volunteered at abused women's shelters, I obtained my license as a CNA and MAT and worked in health care communities in both Idaho and here in Oklahoma where I currently reside. I took a break to have 3 beautiful daughters and am excited to re-enter the workforce and develop connections and offer aid to your elderly again.

HI there. I seem to always remind people of someone else. I smile a LOT. And love conversation BUT... that does not mean I talk a LOT either. Some of my clients are more on the quiet side and I "go" with that. People are interesting. EVERYONE has a story to tell and of course, everyone's story is unique. Sometimes my client and I will go into the kitchen and cook or bake and some clients HATE to be in the kitchen. Do you love to take walks? How about drive around and "see the sights"? Ahhh... how about this--- a great game of Dominos? OK.. you don't like those? No problem. I love crafts... how about taking great pictures? Are you a camera buff? Can you sing? Play a musical instrument? I was a piano and french horn major in college. Well.. maybe you are more of a reader. OH YES! I love to read! One of my favorite hobbies -- love to read especially Reader's Digest or.. how about this one, "This Ole House".. or a gardening book? You love animals? So do I. Maybe you need a haircut. I have cut my client's hair because they can't get out. Just in case you are wondering....... no.... never have done that for a living-was never trained in that profession but just watching others do it and I love to learn new things. Right now, reading a how-to book... on plumbing. So.. is there anything your are interested in learning? Never too old to learn new things.

I have been doing caregiving for about 5 years now. I love to help people out and love talking and hanging out. I wanted to become a caregiver since i was young because i loved the fact that you get to help people out.

Being passionate about my care is my expertise, I enjoy what I do and im good at what I do. A little about myself, I have been a caregiver for 10+ years and feel it has been my calling. About 2 years ago I started 24/7 care. I am reliable and have letter of recommendations as well. I do bathing, toileting, dressing, meals, grocery shopping, errands, transferring, companionship and house keeping.

Growing up my mother worked two full time jobs, and I naturally stepped in to take care of household needs at the age of 12. A personal achievement is that I am not limited to a set career. I have an accounting degree and have worked in different jobs while mostly being a stay at home mom. I've also invested my time to helping others start their own businesses. I focus on whole health with body, mind, and spirit. I believe that we must put good things into ourselves as well as speak good things into our lives. I have studied a lot over the years in nutrition for my family and friends. I cook from scratch with clean ingredients and always ask questions about the gut and digestive system of the individual to better their health with a good meal. I have a friend that has a Nutritionist and I have helped her in the kitchen with healthy meals because a Nutritionist does not always give you a step by step guidance in your new direction. I do lead a small prayer/study group at church. Encouraging and speaking life into one another to faithfully get through difficult times.

Hi I'm Angie 34 yrs born in raised in Oklahoma I have 2 younger sisters and brother,I basically helped my mom take care of them I love them with all my heart,vit wasn't untill I had stayed the night with my grandma when I was doing her feet and I knew right then I loved helping people and making sure people felt refreshed relaxed I love going over and beyond to assist people when I am able which led me to get my CNA I absolutely love it.

I started doing private care about 8 years ago 4 years into it I realized I liked doing it . So I went and got certified to broaden my work area . Last year I was nominated for CNA of the year at the last facility I worked . Then I went to mission hospice . People asked me when they find out I worked for a hospice company they ask ain't that a difficult job . I responded with "no it is a blessing and I learn so much from the people I take care of ."
