I got my start in elderly care at the young age of 10 years old. My parents built their own beautiful assisted living center when their parents needed that extra attention. They wanted to avoid the long hallways, strong odors, and seemingly lack of care and concern for our elders you often find in nursing homes. Your loved one is not a number among dozens to be dealt with. They are family, and I'm here to aid them in the sunset years of their life with authentic respect and compassion. After a service mission abroad where I volunteered at abused women's shelters, I obtained my license as a CNA and MAT and worked in health care communities in both Idaho and here in Oklahoma where I currently reside. I took a break to have 3 beautiful daughters and am excited to re-enter the workforce and develop connections and offer aid to your elderly again.

HI there. I seem to always remind people of someone else. I smile a LOT. And love conversation BUT... that does not mean I talk a LOT either. Some of my clients are more on the quiet side and I "go" with that. People are interesting. EVERYONE has a story to tell and of course, everyone's story is unique. Sometimes my client and I will go into the kitchen and cook or bake and some clients HATE to be in the kitchen. Do you love to take walks? How about drive around and "see the sights"? Ahhh... how about this--- a great game of Dominos? OK.. you don't like those? No problem. I love crafts... how about taking great pictures? Are you a camera buff? Can you sing? Play a musical instrument? I was a piano and french horn major in college. Well.. maybe you are more of a reader. OH YES! I love to read! One of my favorite hobbies -- love to read especially Reader's Digest or.. how about this one, "This Ole House".. or a gardening book? You love animals? So do I. Maybe you need a haircut. I have cut my client's hair because they can't get out. Just in case you are wondering....... no.... never have done that for a living-was never trained in that profession but just watching others do it and I love to learn new things. Right now, reading a how-to book... on plumbing. So.. is there anything your are interested in learning? Never too old to learn new things.

After nursing school, I worked @ nursing facility . I enjoyed very much caring for the elderly. After 10yrs, working I decided, to do private,work. I'm dependable trust worthy,& honest punctual. I care very much about my professional I have worked as a caregiver for 15 to 20 years.

Being passionate about my care is my expertise, I enjoy what I do and im good at what I do. A little about myself, I have been a caregiver for 10+ years and feel it has been my calling. About 2 years ago I started 24/7 care. I am reliable and have letter of recommendations as well. I have always taken responsibility of maintaining and establishing order in the home and work environment. Growing up my mother worked two full time jobs, and I naturally stepped in to take care of household needs at the age of 12. I have 5 children of my own, so it's a passion of mine to help even if it's to direct and give the individual the independence they need. I have learned that I enjoy caring for people of all ages whether it be with a healthy meal, a clean and orderly space, or just to listen to their hearts. A personal achievement is that I am not limited to a set career. I have an accounting degree and have worked in different jobs while mostly being a stay at home mom. I've also invested my time to helping others start their own businesses. I focus on whole health with body, mind, and spirit. I believe that we must put good things into ourselves as well as speak good things into our lives. I have studied a lot over the years in nutrition for my family and friends. I cook from scratch with clean ingredients and always ask questions about the gut and digestive system of the individual to better their health with a good meal. I have a friend that has a Nutritionist and I have helped her in the kitchen with healthy meals because a Nutritionist does not always give you a step by step guidance in your new direction. I do lead a small prayer/study group at church. Encouraging and speaking life into one another to faithfully get through difficult times.

Hi I'm Angie 34 yrs born in raised in Oklahoma I have 2 younger sisters and brother,I basically helped my mom take care of them I love them with all my heart,vit wasn't untill I had stayed the night with my grandma when I was doing her feet and I knew right then I loved helping people and making sure people felt refreshed relaxed I love going over and beyond to assist people when I am able which led me to get my CNA I absolutely love it.

Since I can remember I have always cared for others and took care of those around me. By age 13 I was living and caring for my Type One Diabetic Granny. She was a retired RN, my mom was a RN, and my Aunt is a RN. It was my goal to follow in the same footsteps as the woman in my life. Unfortunately I never got my RN degree and started my family instead. However, I graduated High school a certified CNA and HHA after attending Francis Tuttle Vo-tech my Junior and Senior year of High School. I am a very energetic and easy to get along with person. My mother always said, "I never met a stranger." I am a 6 ft tall female so naturally I was expected to play basketball. I attended basketball camp one year because all my friends were not cause I cared about playing. I came home with every girls phone numbers from the camp and a plaque for " Miss Congeniality." They specially had made for me because I had no interest in the game but they wanted to recognize me because they had never seen a girl that absolutely got along with every girl and and staff member there before. I get a sense of enjoyment from caring for those who cannot care for themselves and was raised to respect others around me, especially those older and wiser than me no matter what.
