I have done Mental Health, Home Health, Private Duty. Caregiving has been in my family for years. And you know it feels so great to know that there are people like me in the field. When someone feels comfortable, or safe because your genuinely there to assist, It makes me feel good to know that they are confident not just in me but also In themselves and the treatment thereof. I found out early on that caring for other people was my strong suit. I nannied infants for years and then moved on to working with elderly clients. I am familiar with Alzheimer's and dementia care, as well as Parkinson's care. I currently work part time for a woman and from my position with her I have experience with incontinence care of bowel and bladder, medication administration, feedings via Gtube, breathing treatments, and asthma care. I have a passion for this field of work and enjoy working with clients and their family members.
