Hello families, I am a , CNA- Certified Nurse Assisted. I have been working in the medical and non medical fields of healthcare for 22 years. I specialize in homecare, but I have worked 1:1 with a broad range of clients and patients from ages 0-105 years old. I have worked with geriatric clients in different facilities like, ALF, ACF, ADLF, SNF and more. I obtained my CNA certificate in 1997 from a well known community college. I also attended my clinicals at a very well known hospital. I enjoy what I do and I will continue to provide care to the ones in need. As long as I can put a smile on my clients/patients face at the end of the day I'm happy when I have made them happy.

I am a very caring person, sensitive to people's condition and do my work diligently making sure that the privacy of my clients is always protected. As I looked after my nun with a stroke till she passed, I got drawn more to offering more help to people who need them most. I enjoy talking and listening to various stories of my clients since they are very insightful and my personal achievement was when I had to do a CPR on someone to prevent death.

My passion and purpose in life is helping people. I have over 10 years of professional caregiving experience. My first love has always been being a personal caregiver for seniors. I have had extensive experience with companionship, personal care, Alzheimer's, dementia, etc. My education and also being a Medical Assistant has been used often with working as a personal caregiver. I wanted to work in a people related field because I plan on being a psychologist so I want to have as much experience with different types of people. My favorite thing about being a caretaker is being the person the clients trust and seeing them open up and learning who they are. I love hearing stories or jokes about their life or how they see things. One personal achievement I have is I created an activity club with over 100 activities to choose from ; to help kill time and occupy the individuals at the vocational center. I got a lot of recognition for it!

What inspired me to become a caregiver and also going for my CNA license is my mother. She's been a CNa over 30 years.
