Hello my name is kelsey I have been doing health care for 8 years I love what I do and take passion into my work. I have continued to do this work because I have a great personality I love to help others to achieve there goals as in walking to the bathroom 15ft I love to see them have a smile on there face . I do care about the people I take care I believe they deserve the same respect I would like and to treat them as If o wanted my grandparents caregiver would want them treated with dignity and respect.

I have great attention to detail and care about the well-being of others. My goals are to provide the safest care of my capabilities. The thought of being able to help others live a fulfilling life has attracted me to be a caregiver. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the joy and happiness on the individual's face. I have always had the desire to help individuals to live a more rewarding life. It is a wonderful feeling to take away someones pain/ worries/ problems. I have cared for and raised five children and worked caring for people in multiple settings for over 25 years. I am on my own again and have relocated to my hometown of Somerset to start fresh. I am anxious to reconnect with the area and love caring for individuals on a one on one basis. I prefer private inhome care, ive done private care for families since i was 20 yrs olds , i have 25 yrs experience. I enjoy helping other. I learn quickly how the patient likes things and times they like to get up in morning to begin their day and when they end going to bed to watch their favorite tv show before going to sleep.

I am very passionate about my job because I love to help anyone i can that is in need which come from my multiple years of being a volunteering fire fighter. I love the bond the I can create with resident and the stories of life that I get to hear from some of them. What attracted me to being a caregiver was that my grandma was in a home that the workers were so nice and caring for her and it made me want to do the same for others. I also an currently in nursing school so I want to start a career in the medical field rather than being a waitress till I got my degree.
