I believe what makes me a great caregiver is the experience I have. I have 5 years experience working for an agency and independently. I have significant experience with hospice care, dementia, Alzheimers , Parkinson's, COPD, cancers, companion care and the general everyday care of those that can't do things for themselves anymore like cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and showers. I always keep medical books in the homes of my clients/patients. On every shift I always take blood pressure , temperature and oxygen so that Vitals can be monitored regularly for any changes. The medical books will keep logs of daily living such as any Dr appointments, mood changes, medications, vitals, daily diet and activities. It's important to catch/detect any change in health. Communication is big with me on keeping everyone on the same page so that the best care can be given at all times. I'm a registered health care aid, . CPR/First Aide certified. I became a health care aide because I believe our loved ones get better care at home from one on one care opposed to a nursing home.

I have been a care provider for about 18 years. I have taken care of my parents who were both disabled and terminally ill. My name is Sandie and I first started caregiving with my grandmother. I found that I like to help people complete every day tasks and be able to feel independent. I have some medical training in my background as I became a licensed phlebotomist in 2012. I am also a mom to 4 kids, aged 11 through 15, which means I am always taking care of someone. Helping my children to become respectable and responsible people is something I take pride in. It can be challenging at times but I'm always up for a challenge. I work at a nursing home on weekends. Hello, My name is DeAnna. I have been in the line of health care for 13 years, working in nursing homes as a state Certified Nurses Aide as well as in private homes as a Home Health Aide. I have worked with many various ailments both mental and physical. I specialize in rehabilitation, Alzheimer's/Dementia, and skilled nursing/hospice. I love knowing that I am making a positive difference in someone's life! I also own and operate a senior care and service company. I have a great group of girls that were my co-workers until I decided to make my own business. Our caregivers range from Companions to C.N.A's and I am looking into to hiring a nurse to join our team. I actively work as a cargiver within my company and make minimal profit off hours I dont personally work as a care giver. What this means is I have well paid aides who enjoy working for/with me and I can take the burden of hiring and scheduling cargivers off your shoulders. We have on call aides to fill in should anything unexpected come up for a caregiver so you need not ever worry about someone not coming. I also carry liability insurance on myself as well as my fellow caregivers and they are my employees which means they are covered under my disability, unemployment, and workmans comp if anything should happen.
