I love taking care of people . Making sure there safe and showed compassion. I like the one on one interaction with the clients . For filling there needs and helping them achieve there goals of being as independent as possible.

I feel drawn to taking care of others. I served as a medical specialist for one term in the US Army National Guard. I also served as shift floor first responder at plants I worked at over the years while a cnc machinist. It has been my privilege to assist with hospice care for family and others through word of mouth. I've gone as far as getting ordained so I could spend time with one of the gentlemen I was caring for who requested me while in ICU. (They would only allow family and clergy.) I've worked with people recovering and in cancer treatment, dementia, alzheimers, deaf, blind, bed bound, mobility issues using wheel chairs and walkers, among other issues. As a caregiver, I have done many things: kept written log for family if needed, light housekeeping, baths and showers, laundry, medication monitoring, errands, helping with making and keeping appointments, the occasional over night stay, meal prep and much more. I'm also a mother of a child with a cleft pallet who also went through years of heart issues until she had surgery, and have a daughter with autism as well so special needs I'm more than comfortable with. It is my goal to make sure the comfort and safety of every individual meets their specific needs. As a caregiver, I treat everyone as extended family.

I enjoy caregiving because its a giving back to help and person that is in need. I have been caregiver within the last 15-20 yrs. Also having experienced things with parents that I can use to care for someone else. Helping someone with everyday life skills with a caring and compassion . I know one day I may need help and I hope I get someone like me. I'm putting in so I can reap the harvest of my labor.

I am very compassionate and patient, I also always go above and beyond to make sure I am the best caregiver I can be. I have a younger brother who was born with cerebral palsy and I always took care of him without feeling like I had to, that's when I knew what I was meant to do with my life. I started working in a nursing home when I was 16 and and then switched to home health care and I have enjoyed caring for others ever since.

Hi! My name is Ailani and I am currently a student at Coastal Carolina University. I am an Exercise Science major with a concentration in Pre-Allied Health Sciences and a concentration in Spanish in Health Professions. I have previous background in an array of care-taking serviceS but currently I work as a CNA in Conway, SC. I love my job and the people I meet! I have always been people-oriented and that is what pushed me to peruse healthcare and I have loved my journey thus far! Also, I am CPR/AED certified and have knowledge dealing with an array of cognitive and other medical disorders.

I am a very compassionate person. I love people real hard. I work very hard to treat everyone as I would my own family. I got into the caregiver business because of my grandmother. I was her primary caregiver for the last 3 years of her life.

I am a nurturer by nature. I get a sense of fulfillment when caring for others. One trait that sets me aside would be my ability to meet each individual client where they are in their current state, remembering no two are the same. After working inpatient transportation within a hospital for years, I saw there was a greater need for me at the bedside. I always seem to be able to connect with the patients and that is what prompt me to go to school and become a CNA. Becoming a certified nursing assistant was one of my greatest accomplishments. It is a career I enjoy, I am never bored and I always feel there will be a need for me.

I have been a certified nursing assistant for 17 years? I am excellent at caring for others. Helping individuals whom have been injured or those who are disabled or ailing is my passion. I take great pride in being a CNA and assisting where people can not completely do for themselves, to ease the load on the family and loved ones.
