I am naturally a kind, caring, nurturing, and entertaining individual and that is why I think Nursing works so well for me. In college I took care of my aunt 7 days a week until she passed away from ALS, and I loved being the only person she trusted in her most vulnerable hours. This time with her gave me extended experience with patients with very limited mobility or bound to a hospital bed, alternative feeding methods, ventilators, lifts, and plenty of at home physical therapy.
