Patience, empathy, reliability and honesty are top traits that I have learned to go above and beyond expressing over the decade put into caring for others. My passion began as a teenager, watching my mother operate a day program for mentally and physically challenged adults. I would spend early dismissal days at the program learning how to care and support adults who needed an extra hand. As I matured and ventured out into different career areas, I always seemed to end up back where I was most fulfilled and happy, which is caregiving. The rewards are in the smiles, milestones reached and surpassed and the trust that I build with the individuals and their families. Caregiving has allowed me to travel the US and gain experience in many different settings, while being exposed to the various challenges and conditions others face in the world. Gaining knowledge from medical professionals of all walks and being able to utilize everything I have learned have all benefited those I care for and allowed me to excel at what I love.

I am very dependable, helpful and loving. I have a huge heart. I love to help as much as possible. I worked at a nursing home and it made me have a special place for the seniors and anyone one that needs help but can't help themselves. I love being able to put a smile on someone's face.

I get joy from helping people and making a difference in my patients life I also understand how hard it can be on family members so I love the smiles they give me when they know that the love one they trust me with are happy and in good hands.

Hi there, I am Jeannine; AKA "J" (for those that have a difficult time with my name). I'm uplifting, compassionate, kind and love to find humor throughout each day. I decided to go into caregiving full time after taking care of both parents until their passing. I became astutely aware of the necessity for a caregiver to possess the same qualities I have to offer others (and their family members) during the time I oversaw the needs of my own parents. I realize how important and upsetting it can be for families trying to fill their loved ones needs without adequate help, and welcome the opportunities to help those in need. To me, it is both rewarding and fulfilling to know I have made a positive difference in someone else's life.

The things I enjoy the most is the special bond that is created with my client and their family. 3. My personal achievement has to be when I was complimented by a total stranger, on how wonderful I was to my Grandmother (who was actually my client!) . I explained that when a person is employed in this field, it is so important to take care of that person like you would with your own family member. 4. Am a compassionate , dependable female with 5yrs+ experience in care giving who grew up with her grandparents and I've been their primary caregiver. I love taking care of the elderly. I put my grandparents whom I love so much in their shoes and hence I put in my best when providing care for anyone. I love caring for others especially now that am in my second semester in nursing school.
