I became a caregiver because I have a passion for taking care of people. I helped my mother take care of my brother and sister and it became a part of who I am as a person. I will go over and beyond to help a person and I take great pride in being that way. My greatest achievement is knowing that I made a positive impact in someone's life.

I became astutely aware of the necessity for a caregiver to possess the same qualities I have to offer others (and their family members) during the time I oversaw the needs of my own parents. I realize how important and upsetting it can be for families trying to fill their loved ones needs without adequate help, and welcome the opportunities to help those in need. To me, it is both rewarding and fulfilling to know I have made a positive difference in someone else's life.

I feel caregiving/cna is my true calling. I enjoy helping clients with activities of daily living whom can't do for themselves. I enjoy learning about the lives my clients have lived and their families. When I have a client whom has Alzheimers or Dementia, I enjoy stepping into their world.

I have been a caregiver since I was a teenager. My mom taught me to help others. This is my passion. I have three beautiful children of my own who I love dearly. My daughter is a heart patient and I care for her when she needs me. My oldest son has ADD and ADHD. He requires around the clock care outside of school. My youngest son has a bone disease.
