I took care of my husband who passed after 19 years of cancer, my grandparents , who both suffered from Alzheimer's. Spent numerous years working in a rest home & for private clients in their home. Hello I am a nursing student and a Certified Medical Assistant/ Certified Nursing Assistant of 10 plus years. I have a passion for caring for elderly adults and adults with special needs since my teenage years. I'm most proud when I have my clients/ patients thank me for a job well done. My patient's and clients often feel like I go the extra mile to make sure their needs are met, however, to me its just my way of giving my clients/patients high quality healthcare. My personal achievement that I'm most proud of is getting excepted into a nursing program. I plan to own and operate my own assisted living facility in the next 5 plus years.

I'm an extremely caring person. I have a 31 year old daughter, I am a widow and have a two cats. I have taken care of two disabled adults, two elderly couple that came out of surgery, a woman with Alzheimers and dementia, a gentleman with dementia. I made sure they were bathe, wash clothing, folded clothing, changed feeding tubes, drove them to doctor's appointments, drove them to visit neighbors, made breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner. I also would change the bed every other day. I did light cleaning. I consider myself to be attentive, kind and patient. I know that I can be there for someone if they needed a companion, or small duties of which I've already done in the past. I have a vehicle but I'd prefer to use the patient's vehicle for anything we have to go run errands for. I am currently living in Brookshire Texas. I am willing to learn or be trained for something I have not yet assisted with. I do not have a license as nurse but I am CPR Certified. I am willing to work with ages 25 and up. Will not take COVID vaccine. I would not like to work in an environment where there are too many animals or and pitbulls. I hope I can be of assistance.

Since 1990, I have very much enjoyed my work as a CNA ( certificate Nursing Assistant.) I also have a CPR License. In private homes and residential facilities, And hospitals. Serving others with compassionate nursing/ support/thoughtfulness has filled my life with a purpose, which is why I have Dedicated my life caring for others. Highly motivated self-starter, I quickly learned what needs to be done and generously give the exceptional care my clients deserve.

Caregiving just comes naturally to me I simply love helping others. Lots of times I been asked the question " why do you do this" " do you like wiping butts " my reply is I love what I do and it's not just wipes and butts involved in this field.
