I'm a very empathetic person, and I'm drawn to caregiving because I love helping people. The thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is seeing a smile on a client's face when I've done something to make them feel great. One of the things that I am most proud of is being able to say that I serve my country...it's an honor.

I am careful, safe, organized and coordinated in transporting clients for their needs whether it is for picking up medications, getting them to and from their appointments, filling out forms, helping with their shopping, all personal care service for their daily living for and anytime they want some simple conversation and just not be alone. To give and share with clients, one must be compassionate and patient and have an understanding that those needing care would like for the caregiver to understand their needs. There happens to be an advantage to being a caregiver that can put themselves in the shoes and situation of those with the need. General companionship and interaction with client (i.e. reading books, cognitive therapies). Driving client to and from appointments and activities in a client-provided wheelchair accessible van.

As an individual who spent her early years in a civil war, it was seriously sad to see people who were affected badly and had no one to care for them. Due to my passion for humanity, I found myself voluntarily helping victims in anyway I could as encountered them. After my transition to the US due to the war, I knew that caregiving was a part of me and decided to spent my career life doing that.
