I am Virginia Board Certified Nursing Assistant with over five years of home health and assisted living care. After raising four children I returned to school and became certified as a Home Health Aid, Nursing Assistant as well as Phlebotomy Tech. I believe that everyone has the right to quality care, and an advocate to ensure they are treated with dignity and respect. Raising four children has taught me that one must always use and implement active listening skills as well as expect the unexpected. I love treating others well as a Caregiver because I always have it in mind that with life one should expect a lot of changes, challenges and experiences and these may be getting sick, accidents or growing old because it is the order of the day. So, I always imagine myself into that person's situation Iam caring for. The question that pops up in my head is what if that's me, my parents or my lovely daughter. This prompts me to treat others the same way I would wish to be treated or cared for in case I was in that position. My greatest achievement is putting a smile on someone i have given care for. To me this is very rewarding

I have taken care of a lot of Client for all this years and being able to take care of a particular Client for more than 4years when Doctors had told the family She had 6 months to live a lone makes my happy. Care is not only about taking care of someone but as to how you treat the person and make them feel makes a huge difference. That made me so proud of my self because it made me realize I made a difference and I did my job as a caregiver and recognized the client as a family of my own

I am a very patient person. I started caregiving position when 1st I came to USA. I used to take care of my grandmother for more than two years. I was with her still the end. I had to quite my job and take care of her because I LOVE HER SO MUCH. I love to be with people who needs help and I will satisfied when I see them happy. I work this job for about 7 years. I used CNA licence from 2009 to 2017. I had to go to college and I finished my associate's 2018. I love working as a CNA because I love helping people.

I enjoy getting to know people and also taking care of them. When I was a little girl my mom was a single mother so my grandparents always took care of me so my mom was able to work. I always said I would take care of my grandmother when the time came, unfortunately my grandmother passed away due to Parkinson's however I continued being a caregiver and treat every client I have as one of my grandparents. I love getting to know others and how life growing up was for them. They offer me so much wisdom and knowledge! I am cpr/first aid cert, PCA, Medication Aide, Covid Vaccinated and boosted, I also have a negative tb as well. I have been working in the health care field for 11 years between memory care, assisted living, in home care, and hospice care.

I became a caregiver because thats always been my job and i studied for elderly care. I like this job because i like taking care of others, and trying to make people feel good. A proud acheivement i have is getting my career that helps me make a difference
