My personality traits are I'm caring , I always have a smile .I'm very reliable and responsible. My expertise of being a caregiver is communication,support and care. Starting off being a caregiver/pcw for my grandparents who are now deceased is what attracted me to being a caregiver. I enjoy my patients/residents the most being able to meet new and help new people everyday is loving to me , it's a purpose for me . I'm very trustworthy, honest and kind person. I became a caregiver because my grandmother suffer health issues that couldn't not be met in a traditional senior living facility so I took several class to learn all the cares she needed at the time. However one thing that I enjoy the most as a caregiver is smiles and laughter from a patient that's comfortable with the way I care for them. One thing that I person achievement that I'm proud of is giving back to others that needs help.

I have a good personality I am CBRF certified which means I am certified in passing medication I am also CNA Certified for 20 years I also have Day Care liscense I have worked in a nursing home for 15years I have worked and managed group home for three years I have alot of experience I enjoy taking care of the elderly I love to make them still feel wanted.

I have had a passion for health care & mostly the elderly population since I was in Kindergarten. However, I enjoy helping anyone who needs my assitance. I became a care giver because of the need & my own self satisfaction of helping others. I am proud to say I have been a Medical Assistant for the past 20 plus yearsr but feel I have come to a point in my career where the clinic setting has becomemore of a business and not very personal & caring. In the office setting you are rushed to room patient's that it has taken over the personal touch that I was proud to give. I feel the home setting you can be one on one which probably makes the patient feel more comfortable & the focus of why we are there to help them. I enjoy helping others to make their lives as full and content for them as possible.

I became a caregiver as a young child. Helping my cousin, Brian, who had Downs Syndrome, overcome fears and succeed made me deeply happy. I worked my way through college as a live-in caregiver, and relived the joy I had as a young girl helping Brian love life. If I had to give one reason that sets me apart as a caregiver, it is this -- love making others feel safe, content, happy, and challenged. By that, I mean motivated to overcome problems and feel hopeful once again. Overall, I have been caregiving for 15+ years (except for the 20 years I taught school), and I give God the credit for placing the love and compassion in my heart for those who are suffering. When I help others, then I am happy.

I was a registered nurse for twelve years and decided I wanted to get out of the hospital scene. However my passion continues to remain in caring for others that need help. I have cared for my mom, who is now deceased, for many years. I feel that helping a man, woman, or child in their home environment is extremely important. It gives them a sense of independence and wellbeing. I cared for a woman after I left nursing who had multiple sclerosis and cancer for two years and unfortunately she had to go into a nursing facility. As far as my personal achievements...in the past I was telemetry, ACLS, CPR certified. I would be willing to renew any of those if needed. I have always seemed to develop a great rapport with my patients and always worked well with my staff. As far as a personal achievement goes, I had a patient that had three strokes in succession. She would always call out my name. Finally she was discharged and years later I was at a new hospital doing orientation and she found me. She came from New York to see if she could find the people that cared for her. That was an amazing experience. Personal life--I have my husband and a stepson and a crazy cat. Just looking into getting back into helping others but in a different scene. Thank you for your consideration.

I decided to follow a career in the health field when I helped take care of my grandmother when she was in a nursing home for rehabilitation after a car accident. My older sister was always my idol. She became a nurse and I always admired her with her job and all that she does for other people who are in need. I decided to pursue in the same field. I enjoy helping others. I am a very giving and compassionate person. I take my job seriously, and don't expect anything in return. My reward is seeing smiling faces of those I help and knowing that they are completely appreciative of everything I do because I am not obligated to do so. I am proud of starting school to continue my education. I had financial issues and had to take a break, but I am determined to finish and get my RN. A little something about myself, I live on my own with my boyfriend and his 3 year old son. I also have a dog. I enjoy spending time with my family and my boyfriend's family. I am looking to add on to my small family, but the jobs I have had have not allowed me to be financially stable just yet. I am looking to get paid decently for all the work that I do as a CNA. I take full responsibility for my clients I don't have any children or sickly family that will interfere in my commitment to provide full time / live in care position. I specialize in providing care to clients with Dementia/ Alzheimer disease. I provide exceptional care to all my clients. I have worked with clients from stage 1 until the final stage (7) of dementia. I also worked in the hospital setting for four years.
