I an 43 yrs old. I have been a CNA for 13 year. I am reliable,caring,flexible,organized and efficient . I became a caregiver because I have always liked helping people. I like the in home setting better then a nursing home because it is more relaxed and clients feel like they are able to do more for themselves. Believe it or not I used to be pretty shy but I was a waitress and now I love working with people. I also went to school to be a MA. I have much more educational background.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I put my heart and soul into it. I was put here to help people. And it makes me proud and happy to do so. I became a caregiver because I wanted to do something different with my life, something meaningful. Growing up my mother was a CNA. I loved going to work with her and helping the residents. As soon as I became a caregiver I knew it was the perfect fit. The things I love most about this line of work is the feeling I get every single day when I leave. I leave knowing that I was able to help someone. Even on the rough days, I am grateful for the opportunity the HELP in any way. Some of my personal achievements are that 2-3 months after I started at Aspen Acres I was promoted to team lead. Which meant on my shifts I would lead my group of caregivers. The thing I loved most is that no matter what was happening I could help my team get through it. Aspen was my first job as a caregiver, so for me, that's one of my proudest moments.

I became a caregiver because of the love i have for people .I enjoy spending time with the elderly .I am a very down to earth dependable person who is a.single mother of a teenager. I been in the medical field since i was 16 years old and would never change it for anything in the world I feel this is my destiny to vare for the elderly to want to remain at home for their last days.

I love taking care of people. You could say that it's in my blood. My mom was a nurse for most of her life. Along the way, I learned a lot from her. In addition to my own schooling. My young sister is an RN as well, she works in ICU. I am caring and have patience of gold. My co-workers and residents all say that I am a hard worker.

I have been providing quality personal care to seniors, handicapped and mentally disabled clients for 30 years. Have personal care workers certificate from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. Worked with ICAA in ladysmith and rusk county area. Have also owned and operated own Personal Care business.
