I willingly gave up my childhood to ensure my mother was cared for to the best of my ability. Being her companion as a daughter and a caregiver really gave me joy and allowed me to recognize my purpose at a young age. I love what I do and I take proud in helping those in need. I guess the main question would be why should I be a good candidate for the position offered. Well I believe I am one of the best caregivers only because I have dedicated my entire life to improving and enjoying caring for others. This has allowed me to be the woman I am today. I have great compassion for people especially our elderly and vets. I enjoy helping and being there for my people in need. I have sympathy and empathy for people . I understand how it is. For both patients and the pressure it puts on the family especially the ones who have to do the caregiving. I am also a very patient with people. Working in a memory care facility I've learned how to deal with the special needs of those kind of patients.
